Our award winning library

The municipality is proud to offer its residents one of the best libraries, not only in the Pontiac, but also in the Outaouais region.

The Municipal Library was honored by the Réseau Biblio-Outaouais, which awarded her the Library of the Year Award for several years in the category of municipalities with a population of 800 or less.

Hours of Operation

 The library is open, Monday through Friday 8:00 am   to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm to 4:30pm. 
 We also offer after hours on, Wednesday nights   from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Sundays from  10:00   am to 2:00 pm.

Our partnership with the Réseau Biblio de l'Outaouais

The municipal library offers the Réseau Biblio de l'Outaouais collection, which is rotated every 6 months to offer a new variety of books. We also have our own collection of books that keeps growing. We also offer DVDs. We accept donations of books, DVDs, puzzles, board games and video games. You can buy books that we have in the basement for 0.25 cents per book.

In addition, we offer high speed internet. We have computers and a printer. You can bring your own device and connect to our WI-FI network. The WI-FI connection is available from outside after hours. 

Launch of the Réseau BIBLIO de l'Outaouais website in English version

The Réseau BIBLIO de l'Outaouais is proud to announce the launch of the English version of its website at www.reseaubibliooutaouais.qc. this / in meeting the needs of the citizens of the region for services in English and aiming for greater interactivity between libraries and their subscribers.

This site is the gateway to access the contact details, services and activities of municipal libraries that are members of the BIBLIO Network. In addition, the website provides access to all online library services including subscription, direct catalog access, lending of thousands of digital books and journals, interlibrary loan service with the app. ZPortal, to online and self-study courses and to simplified tools for doing genealogy. Subscribers can also access their user record, make reservations and renewals remotely.

Snow Castle Challenge

The snow castle challenge is open to all residents of the province of Quebec wishing to build a snow castle. There are no restrictions on age or city of residence.
